Chapter 1
1   Jacob, who is doing the speaking of God and Lord Jesus Christ to be engracing the twelve growths in the dissemination.
2   My brothers, conduct all cheerfulness when you might fall about into various trials,
3   knowing that the proving of your conviction is establishing endurance.
4   And let conviction be having finished work (work brought to completion), that they might be perfected and full inheritors
    lacking in nothing.
5   If any of you is lacking comprehension, let him be asking intently from God -- who is giving to all purely without 
    berating -- and it shall be given to him.
6   But be asking intently in conviction without continuously re-examining any of it; To be continuously re-examining is
    to be like a sloshing sea animated by the wind and rippling off.
7&8 Such a man -- a double-souled man unstable in all his ways -- must not suppose that he will receive anything
    from the Lord.

9   Let the lowly brother be boasting in his elevation,
10  but the rich man in his lowering, because he will come and go like a seasonal bloom of grass.
11  The sun rises with scorching heat and withers the grass; Its bloom falls out and the fitting favor of its 
    appearance is loosed away. So also the rich man will be washed away in his proceedings,

12  Blessed is he who is enduring a trial, because having become approved he will take the encompassing of life 
    which He promised to those loving Him.
13  Let no one being tempted say "I am being tempted by God." For God is untemptable of (being) viscously injurious. and 
    He Himself tempts no one. 
14  But each one being drawn out and ensnared is being tempted by his own lusts;
15  Then the lust having taken hold is producing inexpression of Christ,
    and the fully developed inexpression of Christ is swelling forth death.

16  Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
17  All good giving and every finished gift is coming down from above -- from the Father of lights -- from whom there is no
    shifting or slightest trace of changing.
18  It was purposed that He bore us forth by explanation of truth so that we are some first portions of His creations.

19  You are knowing, my beloved brothers; But let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to natural impulse;
20  For the natural impulse of a man does not work the righteousness of God.
21  Therefore, putting away from you all filthiness (of mouth) and exceedingly viscious injury -- by openness to receive --
    take to hand and apply the implanted word which is able to enwrap and perserve your souls.
